Description of Parador, Alcala de Henares
Alcala de Henares to the east of Madrid was built back in the 14thC specifically to create the first planned university and as such is one of the oldest university towns in Europe. The historic centre is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is also the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes, the author of the infamous Don Quixote. This recently opened Parador is housed in a magnificent 17thC former convent, one of the town's historic landmarks and is centrally located next to the prestigious university. Its superb facilities include a sun terrace amongst the cloisters with loungers and parasols, an outdoor pool, sauna and steam room. Garage parking approx. 12 euros/night.

What's included in the price?
Prices in black are per person based on two sharing. They include B&B and return ferry crossings on selected sailings to Spain, for a standard car, 2 people and a 4 berth inside cabin with en suite facilities each way.

Ferry prices for holiday clients are greatly reduced therefore if you travel abroad for 7 nights or longer a minimum of 3 nights holiday accommodation for all members of the party must be booked.
