Description of Accommodation
This resort, popular with the Spanish, stretches along the coast from the old walled citadel towards Benicarlo. The large sandy beach is backed by a range of hotels and apartments and within the old town is a castle and some interesting little shops and restaurants. On summer evenings the lovely promenade is busy with locals and visitors alike taking a leisurely stroll.
Some 5k from the centre of the town, in sub-tropical gardens opposite the beach, are the well maintained Tamarindos apartments (55 in total). Facilities include two pools (25m x 13m & 1m-1.9m deep, and 12m x 6m & 1.5m deep, open all year, subject to weather) with lifeguard mid June-mid Sept. There is also table tennis, a laundry service, Wi-Fi (charge payable) and a summer poolside café bar serving tapas and light snacks.
Max: 4/6 - On ground or first floor of low-rise buildings beside swimming pools. Living room with tv + single sofa bed with single pull-out beneath. Kitchenette (2-ring hob + mini grill/oven). 2 twin bedrooms. Bathroom/wc. Terrace or balcony. Patio furniture.
