- Many are pet friendly
- Some have private or shared swimming pool
A great choice
With well over a thousand properties across France to choose from, you can enjoy a cottage holiday in idyllic countryside, a busy little town or village, or perhaps beside the sea, surrounded by mountains or even within the grounds of a vineyard. Wherever you choose to stay, you are sure to find the perfect somewhere to hang your hat for a week or two.
However, if you can't decide, why not consider varying your holiday with two or more locations - spend a week in the hills, followed by a stay on the coast maybe?
New for 2017: At a selection of properties you can now arrive any day and stay for as many nights as you like (minimum of 7).
Whatever you decide, Brittany Ferries gives you the flexibility to organise your perfect holiday.
Having a private swimming pool right outside your door can add so much fun and pleasure to your holiday. As well as taking a dip whenever you fancy, a pool can also become a focal point for al fresco eating, games and parties.
And don't forget these properties are also great for holidays at cooler times, even when the pool is not available.
An ideal base
Some of our cottages belong to UK residents, something often reflected in the décor and furnishings - with a kettle and teapot being commonplace. But if it's a more French experience you're looking for we also have a great selection of traditional and modern gites.
All are well situated to explore the surrounding area, and to enjoy outdoor pursuits such as walking, golf, fishing, cycling or horse riding. The majority provide a barbecue and garden furniture, giving you the perfect way to relax and socialise after a day's activities.
