With Mount Canigou as a backdrop and surrounded by ancient olive groves, what was once an old Catalan farmhouse is now a particularly delightful hotel. Modern well equipped bedrooms all sleep 5 and have a balcony or terrace, there is a very good restaurant as well as a poolside grill, and when you want to relax and soak up the sunshine there is a beautiful heated pool and sun terrace, plus sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. Massages are also available. Bustling Céret, well known for its cherry harvest, has an old town of typically winding narrow streets wonderfully shaded by huge old plane trees and is just 2k. 3 course dinner included.
