Important information
Brittany Ferries will do the utmost to ensure that checks are done appropriately at our ports, however, if you experience a problem with your documentation upon entry into the UK or Ireland, then any related costs for either the quarantine of or re-export of your pet will be entirely your own responsibility.
PETS Travel Scheme
Taking your Pets abroad
If you love your holidays but always feel sad at the prospect of leaving behind your four-legged friend, then Brittany Ferries have the answer. With the PETS Travel Scheme, we make it easy for you to take your dog or cat on holiday. All you need to be on your way together is a valid DEFRA certificate which is available from any registered vet.
From just £16.50 your cat or dog can travel on any of our routes to France, in the comfort of your own car. If travelling to Spain the cost is £69 return. We think you'll agree it's a small price to pay for so much added enjoyment.
Pet friendly cabins
When travelling to Bilbao or Santander the Cap Finistère is equipped with 14 pet friendly cabins on deck 9. These cabins comfortably accommodate a single pet, however if you are travelling with more than one and wish to discuss your options please call 0871 244 0744 and one of our Reservation agents will be able to help with your arrangements. An exclusive promenade on deck 10 is available to dog owners travelling in a pet friendly cabin (reached by a staircase from the pet friendly cabin area).
| Route | Per pet |
|---|---|
| UK - France | £16.50 |
| France - UK | £24.75 |
| UK - Spain | £29.50 |
