Leaving Santander, your route will take you through some gloriously green countryside, and Spain's most famous Rioja wine regions, before heading up into the Pyrenees.
Spend two nights in the peace and quiet of Bielsa, where the scenery is often likened to Switzerland, with lots of pretty mountain villages.
And then it's back to Sos del Rey, an historical town close to the Navarra wine area to stock up before returning home.
