About La Rioja

As with many parts of the world where viticulture is taken seriously, the density of the vineyards makes the scenery a little monotonous with undulating hills covered with miles of tidy rows of grape vines.

This region in northern Spain is perfect for hiking, riding, golf and mountain sports. You will find many areas of nature that are almost untouched, especially the natural parks of Valderejo, Urkiola, Urdaibai and the magical landscapes along the Guernica river.
