Free Shuttle bus:

A free shuttle bus is available from the port to the town centre, this leaves approximately 30 minutes after the ferry arrives in Cherbourg. A service is also available on the return, arriving at the port in good time to check in.

• Depart Poole on the cruise ship Barfleur at 08.30** arriving in Cherbourg at 13.45
• Stay one night in the Ambassadeur hotel
• 3 course dinner with aperitif in Le Vauban restaurant
• Depart Cherbourg the next day 18.45 arriving back in Poole at 22.00

** Departure is at 07.30 on Tuesdays and Saturdays arriving in Cherbourg at 12.45 

From Portsmouth: 21 May to 26 June and 3 September to 5 September

• Depart Portsmouth on Tuesday or Wednesday on high speed Normandie Express at 09.00 arriving in Cherbourg at 13.00
• Stay one night in the Ambassadeur hotel
• 3 course dinner with aperitif in Le Vauban restaurant
• Depart Cherbourg the next day at 17.00^ arriving back in Portsmouth at 19.00
