The Costa del Sol is renowned as being the most cosmopolitan and affluent of all the Spanish costas, and the golf capital of Europe. The scenery is stunning with mountains on one side and the Mediterranean on the other and the choice of leisure facilities is superb including marinas, water parks, safaris, night clubs, museums, restaurants, casinos and water sports.

Away from the big, commercialised resorts that are associated with this part of Spain our specially selected apartments are just along the coast from Estepona (29k south west of Marbella), one of the few resort towns that has succeeded in keeping its traditional charm and character despite having opened its doors to tourism. You can choose from 2 wonderful locations only 1 kilometre apart, one right on the beach and the other slightly inland, from as little as £749* per person.

Sailing from Portsmouth or Plymouth to either Santander or Bilbao in a 4 berth en suite cabin, you will arrive refreshed and ready to drive south. All utilities plus a weekly cleaning service and linen change are included in the monthly rental.

Ref: ZT7000 Albayt Resort, Estepona

Description
The Albayt Resort is a select and attractive apartment complex just 1k from the beach and 8k west of Estepona. With all the services of an aparthotel, the complex has a day time bar and restaurant as well as a paddle tennis court (charges apply), free Wi-Fi in communal/public areas, a golf academy and several outdoor swimming pools (generally 15m x 10m & up to 1.8m deep. Unfenced & unheated and open all year, subject to weather) with sunbeds. Additionally there is also a fabulous spa centre complete with gym, small indoor pool, spa pool with jets, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room where Brittany Ferries' clients benefit from a special membership rate of 69 euros per person for one month. The apartments are in several 3 storey buildings in well kept landscaped grounds and are all well equipped and comfortably furnished for long stays. Layouts vary and ground floor or duplex  apartments are available so please let us know your requirements when booking.

A short drive inland (17k) takes you to Casares, an impossibly picturesque village where the houses look like randomly placed sugar cubes and narrow, winding streets lead up to the old fortress and church on top of the hill from where the views across to Africa and Gibraltar are absolutely stunning.

The Albayt Beach complex is right on the beach front off the N340 and has 67 apartments in two 3 storey buildings on either the ground, 1^st or 2^nd floor - there are several different layouts available so please let us know your requirements when booking. All have a sea or partial sea view. There are 2 outdoor pools (around 15m x 10m and up to 1.8m deep. Fenced and unheated they are open all year, subject to weather), and the lovely well kept gardens have sunbeds and seating areas, plus direct access to the beach. Guests are also welcome to use the facilities at the Albayt Resort complex (1k).
