Sarlat's ancient houses have been subject to strict conservation for 30 years, making the town like an animated museum.

Gouffre de Padirac was impressive. Warm clothes are needed as it is quite damp at times, especially when the guides rock the boats! Lascaux II was also incredible. The guide did the tour in English and even through this was a recreation of the original cave it was still awesome
