We have had a very restful 2 weeks here - The shutters on the windows and the peace and quiet making us unable to wake up until 9.30/10am. All our meals have been eaten at the table on the terrace and we have been entertained by red squirrels in the trees, in the garden.

I have slept really well because of the shutters on the windows. I will be sad to go home after such a nice 2 weeks. I ate mussels ( and enjoyed them) for the first time ever - I am not a fan of seafood!

Wonderful holiday. Excellent gîte, probably the best equipped we have found over the last 8 years of our plan to see the whole of France! Many, many thanks. The grapes and tomatoes were excellent. We would definitely come back if we didn't have this ambition to see the rest of France.

The deserted coast has a strange, eternal beauty. The garden set amongst the forest trees is very restful. We got quite worried about the dogs yelping and whining until we discovered that they breed Basset Hounds just up the road and saw the lovely puppies. Pity we could not work out the logistics of taking one home.

This is our second visit to this lovely gite that is very quiet and tranquil. Unfortunately it is so peaceful that you don't really want to do anything except relax
