A lovely walking area with lots of local footpaths & a short drive away is Audierne (10k), a small busy fishing port. Trout & salmon fishing in river Goyen (1k) from mid Mar to mid Sept with permit - daily (10 euros) or fortnightly (30 euros), which may be purchased from the bar in Mahalon. Owners can buy this in advance for you if required.
