Douarnenez and its sister town, Tréboul, have some splendid beaches as well as a hydrotherapy centre. If you want more activity, there are some excellent sailing centres too.

August 2007 Sightseeing

None of the guide books tell you about the beautiful Bois du Nevet, just on the other side of Plogonnec towards the Juch. For young cyclists there is the PR36 which follows the old railway line from Quimper to Douarnenez
