This is between Rennes, with its lovely old town & excellent shops & the pretty river port of Redon (boat trips, towpath walks).

All the sleepy villages around were very picturesque. La Gacilly was a treasure trove of craft shops.

A warm and informative welcome to this delightful gite with all amenities. Fresh croissant each morning for breakfast from the boulangerie (and wonderful brioche and pastries - wicked!) and excellent food at a reasonable price at La Manivelle - the village has everything and it is very pretty too. A good base for an interesting and enjoyable holiday

Our week staying at the gite of Mme Tual has been a wonderful holiday and we reiterate the compliments regarding her hospitality and the accommodation. The Musée de l'Automobile is well worth a visit, its scale and range of exhibits was much more than anticipated
