Thank you to Mr Georges our most welcoming and attentive host. In 15 years of visiting French gites, this is the best one yet. The design and contents leave little to be desired, while the surrounding countryside is very beautiful.

We arrived for our second visit and once again really enjoyed being in this super gite. It is so restful and peaceful in between visiting once more - Sancerre, Pouilly, Nevers, Decize etc as well as the small villages around - St Benin d'Azay and La Machine included!

We have had a very enjoyable stay here in Beaumont-Sardolles. As per other comments, this gite far outweighs any other. We recommend some of the local walks - one in La Fermeté through the woods which was lovely. We saw a spotted woodpecker eating some day old baguette and have marvelled at the massive birds of prey. Thanks M Georges - we truly have had a relaxing time . Your lettuce was scrumptious.
