The Bresse region is renowned for its blue cheeses such as Bleu de Bresse, a sort of creamy Gorgonzola and Bressan, a soft goat's cheese in the shape of a cone. The local chickens have their own 'Apellation Contrôlée' and are candidates for being the best chickens in the world.

June 2006 Property

On arrival at the gite we thought we had died and gone to heaven. It is like home from home - clean, well equipped and the garden is beautiful. We walked round it most mornings. So much to see and do around here; markets, walking, wine caves, endless........

We have been having gite holidays since 1992 and have never before visited the same gite twice. This one is so fantastic that we intend to return again. It is so well equipped and beautifully situated.
