Good area for cycling, with free use of 2 mountain bikes. Chickens, deer, owls & more have been seen in the grounds. In the heart of the vineyards of the Côte Chalonnaise, Givry (10k) is a delightful small town which holds a Thursday market and you can also buy the local wine direct from the producers.

July 2007 Wildlife

The area is completely unspoilt and wildlife abounds! As 'birders' nearly everyday produced a new or different species. Highlights include a Hoopoo landing on the bare tree when we were in the pool and the sight of house martins and swallows swooping down to the pool when we climbed out. The pool, table tennis and cycling are excellent, cycling is a pleasure on these quiet lanes. The space, garden, privacy, tranquility, easy parking in villages/towns make this a wonderful location to relax. A big thank you to the Besson family for a lovely holiday, we will return!

July 2007 Welcome

Lovely owners, lovely gite in a lovely location. What more could we ask. What we really liked was the seclusion of the gite and attractive farm surroundings. Everything we needed was here and we are grateful for the friendliness shown by Jacques and Fabienne. We would love to return.
