Spacious living room with dining area, sofa bed, 2 easy chairs, tv, hi-fi, fireplace with woodburner. 3 steps up to shower room & separate wc. 1st floor has bath/shower/wc & 3 bedrms - interconnecting twin & dble room (each also accessible independently) & 1 with large sgle bed. Cot. Electric heaters. Enclosed terrace/lawn with furniture & bbq overlooking canal.

Fishing in the canal all year for carp, roach, pike & perch. Permit from village shop - 200m (7 euros/day, 30 euros/2 wks). Golf course and a Renaissance château in Tanlay (1k).

Fantastic gite in a fantastic location! Village has everything you need including an excellent restaurant and bar for that odd glass of wine, or two!! Château is definitely worth a visit. Haven't felt this relaxed in years.

We have had a lovely time in Tanlay and surrounds. So many wonderful cities and towns to visit. The accommodation has been pleasant, comfortable and well equipped. We have been so fortunate with the weather and have eaten outside overlooking the canal on many occasions.
