An ideal hotel for a family holiday, the de l'Océan is opposite the beach and has good facilities for children including a play area and video games room. There is also an inviting terrace alongside the heated covered pool (sides can be removed in warmer weather), and a gastronomic restaurant with panoramic views over the bay. Concarneau's historic walled city, surrounded by the sea, is a must for exploration - a picture of this is reputed to be south Brittany's best selling postcard! - and other nearby attractions include Quimper, Bénodet and Pont Aven.
