This charming, comfortable hotel is next to a chapel in the ravishingly pretty, flower decked village of Saulges in the western Loire Valley. There is a delightful terraced garden with mini golf, petanque and a heated outdoor pool, which can be covered in cooler weather, in which to work up an appetite for the award winning cuisine and impressive wines. The nearby caves and canyon warrant a visit as does the neighbouring village of St Pierre with its very narrow 13th century footbridge. Garage parking approx. 10 euros/night.
