This lovely chalet with its wooded grounds is on the outskirts of one of France's prettiest villages. The scenery is marvellous, the rooms comfortable and the dining room and poolside terrace offer local cuisine which is both distinctive and delicious, and includes the egg and pepper dish 'piperade', pumpkin bread and gateau Basque. Ainhoa is hidden in the Pyrenean foothills and is perfect for walking - there are 5 superb waymarked circuits from the village.

Hotel closed mid Nov-end Mar. Restaurant closed Wed/Sun (except July & Aug).
