The soft, pale stone of the region, which whitens as it weathers, and the slow-moving waters of the pretty river Cher reflect the wonderful light of the region around Montrichard. In town you can visit the 11thC castle, museums and old houses, and it is also an excellent base for seeing the most beautiful and picturesque châteaux in the Loire. And the Bellevue, although simple, is a friendly hotel with a 70s feel and a charming restaurant which looks out over the river. Garage parking approx. 5 euros/night.
