The Domaine de la Corniche has recently been completely renovated along with its 2 pavilions (100m) and now this hilltop manor, which was once the home of King Leopold of Belgium, once again offers delightful accommodation in a lovely setting. Modern bedrooms are stylishly furnished, the attractive restaurant with its summer terrace has stunning views over the river Seine and in summer there is a heated outdoor pool. Giverny is 12k and was once home to many artistis including Claude Monet who was, of course, the most famous and his beautiful house and atmospheric gardens attract millions of visitors each year.
