The delightful medieval market town of Châteaubriant may be steeped in history but it also has very up-to-date facilities including an Olympic sized swimming pool, a bowling alley, a colourful Wednesday market, and the famous Foire de Bère country show held every September. It even has outdoor music and entertainment in the château grounds during the summer, most of which is free. And visitors will love staying at this hotel within lovely grounds on the outskirts of town; the English style bar, classic restaurant, and half of the bedrooms are housed in the château, whilst the remainder are in the more modern pavilion.
