Also known as little Paris due to its resemblance to France's beautiful capital city, Nantes is a lovely place in its own right and is supposedly where the perfect French language is spoken! It has a splendid array of shops & boutiques, a choice of restaurants to rival any of those found in Paris plus it also has its own fair share of history and important historical monuments. And right in its heart, close to the Opera house, the traditonal 18thC Hotel de France has an important feature of its own - a majestic foyer and reception with a high vaulted ceiling and impressive chandeliers. Spacious bedrooms, a pleasant piano bar and a good restaurant all add to its attraction. Limited private parking.
