This restored Renaissance palace where King Fernando II held his parliament in 1176 forms part of the original walled enclosure of the town and has extensive views of the Elsa Valley. It is still a fascinating building with a lovely classical interior that features many rugs and lamps, wrought iron light fittings and wooden ceilings, whilst outside its pretty formal gardens include a pool (July & Aug only). Enjoy delicious Zamoran cuisine in the restaurant where the menus feature an array of the region's gastronomic dishes.
