This magnificent Parador enjoys a fantastic location on a wooded promontory, surrounded by medieval walls. A walk around the parapet reveals rocky islands, small, empty beaches and glorious views of the river estuaries. Superbly appointed and with a famously good restaurant, this really is a magnificent place to stay. Nearby, the small, colourful port of Baiona is unspoilt and has some excellent bars and seafood restaurants. Hotel parking approx. 5 euros/night.
