Clustered around the tiny harbour in Cudillero, restaurants and bars welcome visitors all year long who come to explore this delightful fishing village. Its cobbled main street and stepped alleyways wind their way down to the picturesque port where the colourful houses clinging to the surrounding hillside terraces completely cover them from top to bottom. La Casona de Pio is tucked away one street back from the main village square and was originally a salting house which has been lovingly restored by its charming current owners into this delightful hotel. Furnished with antiques and in keeping with the traditional features of this wonderful stone house, the 11 bedrooms each have a hydro massage bath and the whole feeling is one of welcome and comfort. A special mention must also be made about its restaurant which serves some of the finest seafood and fish in northern Spain.
