At Chevrette, near Bourgeuil, 15k, you can look round a small museum dedicated to the lovely local wines of Bourgueil & St Nicolas. Tasting afterwards is obligatory.

August 2006 Property

Superb gite, most comfortable and restful with a garden that's perfect for children. The owners are very friendly and helpful - we were greeted with wine, beer and cake on arrival

A highlight of our week was a guided tour in English at the Langlois Château winery in Saumur. It lasts 2 hours and is highly entertaining and finished with a tasting of 10 wines
