We enjoyed The Sardines Festival at Saint Gilles, with the decorated market square, many townspeople in traditional costumes as well as bbq sardines & tuna meals for a large street party.

We recommend the crêperie on Notre Dame de Monts seafront just behind the beach. Also recommend canoe trip from Sallertaine- great fun!
