If you try cycling to the boulangerie in the forest you're in for some real climbs! But it is worth the effort as it's also a salon de thé and in a very pretty setting, with some very creative cakes!

In Coulon we also hired a boat for a couple of hours and explored the canals, a still day with dazzling reflections on the water to photograph.
