Open tread stairs to 1st floor with dble and twin bedrms. Heating. Enclosed garden & courtyard with furniture, bbq and swing. Car shelter. Table tennis, table football.

Contrary to general opinion, it was not Queen Mathilde who commissioned the famous Bayeux Tapestry, but Bishop Odon who placed the order with an English workshop, as decoration for his new cathedral.

August 2007 Location

Had a great holiday in this excellent gite, our third time in Normandy. The children loved Parc Festyland and the brilliant swimming pool at Falaise. Best beach for our kids was at Arromanches - really good for catching crabs (watch for the bubbles).
