Lovely, well renovated gite adjoining welcoming owners' property in hamlet. Owners keep a henhouse, sheep and a donkey. Comfortable interior. Living room with beams, fireplace, tv (some English channels) and fitted kitchen area (m/wave, w/machine, f/freezer). 1st floor has small shower room, wc and 2 attic bedrms - dble (pleasant views over countryside) and twin. Cot < 3yrs. High chair (on request). Electric heating. Private, enclosed garden and courtyard with lawn, furniture, bbq & slide.

For keen walkers there are marked footpaths leaving from the local village of Blay.

After being out and about visiting all the lovely towns & villages it was a pleasure to return, especially to see the chickens who loved crushed up cornflakes and the donkeys who liked munching on juicy carrots.

The gite has everything you could possibly need, inside and out. The garden was a great hit with our 2yr old and the fire made for a cosy evening when the weather wasn't so good.

We would recommend the Canadian museum at Juno beach, the museum is very informative and interactive for the young ones and is staffed by Canadian students who are very welcoming.

Bayeux is a must, not just for its attractions but also several good restaurants. We could recommend l'Assiette Normande on the corner by the cathedral.
