Free use of bicycles - 2 gents', 2 ladies' & 3 children's (5-10 yrs) in hilly countryside. The gite is also well placed for walking. Thury Harcourt is a delightful little town with a park & ruined château - glorious in springtime.

We really enjoyed the bikes and the local lanes are very peaceful for cycling even with youngish children and an unfit 40 something mum!

A pleasant stay with lovely views of the French countryside. It is central to visit lots of places. Enjoyed trying to light the fire (this caused a few arguments between father & son), but was well worth it once it was blazing away.

August 2007 Location

A good week spent here in Normandy and super weather meant we were able to spend much time outside appreciating the wonderful views. We found plenty to do including a visit Jurques Zoo (excellent small zoo set in pleasant woodland with a large selection of animals). The rest of the time was spent enjoying the countryside doing the local walks and bike rides amongst beautiful hedgerows, flowers and birdlife.
