Private enclosed garden with lawn, terrace, furniture, bbq, swing.

There are plenty of places to visit within less than an hour's drive - including Bayeux, Arromanches (beach), Caen & Vire.

We have stayed in gites in Normandy every year since the 1980s and this is one of the best. There is a delightful one-legged chaffinch who visited us regularly on the terrace for a piece of bread!

There is a kingfisher at the pond - we have seen it several times and it's always nice to wake up to birds singing.

It has been a real home from home and we are all sorry to leave. The most enjoyable meals we had were sitting on the terrace watching the sun setting through the trees, drinking Pascal's cider!

This gite is one of the best and Normandy has something tucked away in every corner and just over a hill. The scenery every where is quite stunning - views in all directions. Close by there are two lovely lakes which is ideal for an evening walk but don't forget to take the donkey a carrot!
