This is in a wooded area on the 'Route du Cidre', not far from Lisieux and the beaches of Houlgate & Deauville.

We have enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing autumn break in this beautiful gite. From the spectacle of the apples falling from the trees to the machinery coming to crush the apples, we feel we've had a real taste of rural life! Mme davoust have been warm & friendly throughout and we definitely recommend the Pommeau and Cider! A quick recipe - buy some local sausages, fry up with some onions, remove from pan, add some of the local apples, sliced, knob of butter to caramelise, throw on some of the cider to reduce, pop the sausages back in, cook for 5-6 mins and enjoy with some fresh bread from the boulangerie.
