The local cider farm offers tours (in English). Also recommended are the public gardens & Thursday market in Coutances & the beach at Granville.

July 2007 Sightseeing

Things we enjoyed - the beach at Granville - great for rock pools and dramatic against the cliffs. Unusual dramatic scenery of Roches de Ham (near Condé sur Vire) when so much of the countryside is gentle and rolling. Christian Dior museum (great classic display of fashion) and garden (originally designed by his mother). Everyone in our family enjoyed being there! Look out for the pink rhubarb!
