Easy access to lots of sandy beaches and Coutances, which boasts one of the most beautiful cathedrals in France. It is also an easy drive to Villedieu les Poêles (famed for its copperware) or Mont St Michel.

May 2006 Food

It's been a real pleasure to eat and drink locally (filet steak at Cerisy butcher was the best we've ever had) and touring the Calvados producers not only gave us the opportunity to practise our French (getting better) but also re-stock our drinks cabinet.

Had a wonderful week in this fab little gite, weather has been very good and gardens are excellent for a game of badminton or boules, late nights, lots of wine, great food, bbq each night.

Wonderful time enjoying the French way of life. If you fancy a fantastic meal in warm company, we would recommend Vive la Difference in Montpinchon. Don't take the car, its only about a mile ¼ walk

We've had a wonderful break in this lovely little cottage. Children have enjoyed playing football in the garden and making friends with a couple of cats!. Really central position to visit the 'must see' places
