In quiet location at end of country lane surrounded by woods, yet only 5k from the famous seaside resort of Barneville-Carteret. Owner lives nearby. Sitting/dining room with large picture windows (pleasant views), tv, dvd, leather sofa and fitted kitchen area (freezer, m/wave, d/washer, w/machine, t/dryer). Large shower room. Wc. Open tread stairs to 2nd wc and a dble & twin bedrm. High chair. Electric heaters. Garden (partly enclosed by hedges) with lawn, furniture, bbq, sun loungers & swing.

Thursday is market day in Carteret. Visit the windmill at Fierville les Mines (6k) for a flour-making demonstration or take the children to the animal farm at St Lô d'Ourville (12k).

This is our 5th gite holiday and I think this time we got it right. Close to the sea with a great sandy cove at Carteret. Close to a supermarket & a bread shop in Barneville Carteret. The gite has been great, the garden swings and sun loungers a real bonus
