Semi-detached gite adjoining another in village (no shops, but mobile baker & butcher pass through). Owners live on site. Spacious sitting/dining room with exposed beams/stone walls, tv, fireplace, French window to rear, shared garden and kitchen area (m/wave, d/washer, w/machine). 1st floor has shower room/wc and 3 pleasant bedrms - 2 dbles and a twin. Cot < 3yrs, high chair, baby bath. Electric heaters. Shared, open front courtyard & grounds with lawn, garden furniture & bbq. The Pool: 10m x 5m and 1m to 1.9m deep. Alarmed, open April to October and shared with owners (rarely) and other gite.

Ruffec (7k) is a small town with many marked footpaths leading through glorious countryside - ideal for hikers. A market is held here too every Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.
