Well furnished property adjoining owners' home in large enclosed grounds off quiet street. Owner's friendly dog lives on site. Large kitchen/diner (m/wave, d/washer, tv). Utility room (w/machine, t/dryer). Wc. Comfortable lounge/dining room (fireplace, tv). Split level 1st floor has shower/wc, bathroom, 2nd wc, 3 dble bedrms & 1 twin (sgle & large sgle bed). Cot, travel cot & 2 high chairs. Linen hire (includes towels) 12 euros per person. C/heating. Weights, exercise bike etc available. Garden (shared with owners on rare occasions), lawn, terrace, furniture, bbq, swings & slide. Small unfenced pond. Private Pool: 10m x 5m & 1.2m-2m deep with safety cover. Unheated, for sole use of clients, open May to Oct.

On the edge of the village, within walking distance of restaurants & small shops. St Jean d'Angély has some lovely old buildings & a plan d'eau (fishing, canoeing, pedalos, swings).

It was a lovely evening when we arrived and our first stop was the pool

We had a great time playing cricket & rounders in the large garden & splashing/swimming in the pool. There is a great volleyball court at St Jean d'Angély - we even ended up playing in a tournament!

Jardins du Monde is well worth a visit. You can walk all the beautiful gardens or see them while going round the lakes in your own hired boat
