Well renovated, mid-terraced gite adjoining another property and small shop by road, in lovely village centre (no grocery shops, but mobile butcher & baker visit regularly). Brouage is a beautiful fortified village with ramparts & a museum and is lively in summer. Lovely sandy beach and Sunday market at Marennes (8k). There is a superb zoo with over 1,500 animals to visit at La Palmyre (30k).
