4 bicycles available on site for exploring pleasant countryside. In Melle, during July and August, you can visit the old silver mines at Loubeau. To the west is the Chizé forest and Zoorama.

We enjoyed walking around the lanes at night picking blackberries, finding conkers (in August !) and feeding a large brown horse who always appeared happy to see us

Cycling round the lanes to the different villages is much easier than in Cornwall
