We had our first experience of French holidaying and will definitely be back for more. Thanks Berni and Paul for being friendly but not intrusive hosts.

Our third visit and we'll be back again! We recommend Arcachon (we went several times) - lovely beaches and lots to do for the kids, especially if the weather's not fantastic. The kids park at Fontet is excellent (take a picnic).

Pâté from the butcher who visits on Thursdays is definitely superb!!

Our first holiday in France and it was brilliant!! One of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we have had - it has exceeded our expectations.

What a place! The hosts were lovely, always ready for a chat. Wonderful house, pool and garden and the scenery here is fantastic, as are the markets.

The Brasserie St Georges in Bazas was very good. Lots of French people on a Sunday (a good sign). Beef is very good but medium = rare in England!

Had a superb holiday. The restaurant overlooking the château in Sauternes was definitely a highlight, and so romantic! Don't change a thing - see you next year!

Our first taste of a gite in France and we are hooked! We only wish we had more time to explore the area - a week is not long enough, we will return!

Paul will organize wine tasting at château. English speaking owner gave excellent wine growing history. The tasting was superb - stocked up for the year!!
