Guests have use of château facilities including indoor pool, sauna, fitness room, lounge & tennis. They can also have evening meals for 20 euros per head, which must be booked in advance. Owner keeps 2 labradors and also breeds horses (around 15 on site) which children may visit with her. Kitchen area (m/wave, f/freezer, w/machine); lounge/dining area (exposed beams, woodburner, tv/video/dvd - English channels). 1st floor has shower/wc & 2 pleasant bedrms - 1 dble, 1 twin. Travel cot, high chair, stairgate, baby bath. Shared use of large grounds (furniture, bbq, table tennis, boules, 5 bikes). The Pool: 11m x 3m and 1.5m - 2.3m deep. Open May to Sept, weather permitting. 100m from property, shared with owners and B&B guests.

Chef Boutonne (1.5k) has most amenities and a Saturday market. This is also a good base for touring - day trips could include Poitiers, Futuroscope, La Rochelle, Cognac or the Marais Poitevin.
