Moliets has a beautiful, sandy beach which is the largest on the French Atlantic coast and ideal for families with two restricted supervised swimming areas (June to Sept), leaving the rest of the beach for surfers and body-boarders. To discover the wonderful countryside around this resort, follow the many marked foot and cycle paths that take you through forests and beside lakes to neighbouring villages (you can buy maps at the local tourist office for 1 euro). Moliets also boasts one of the best golf courses in the country - in an amazing setting built amongst pine trees it covers an area of 350 hectares of forest leading right down to the sea. For evening entertainment there are many bars and eateries to choose from nearby including the 'Cave aux Moules', which as the name suggests is a restaurant serving only mussels but in many different, delicious sauces.

This newly built residence of 92 apartments in small 3 storey buildings, is set in the heart of Moliets just 100m from the beach. On site facilities include 2 pools, one of which is indoor and heated, a sauna and fitness room. Tv hire 40 euros per week.
