As well as lovely beaches and many watersports to choose from there is much to explore along this coastline. The Bertheaume Fort, once battered by many naval battles, has been carefully restored and now has a large open air theatre where events are organised including puppet shows, treasure hunts and son et lumière evenings. Saint Mathieu lighthouse (4k) has a museum to visit or you can climb to the very top (56m) for a guided tour and a panoramic view over an endless string of islands.

This 5-storey residence of 80 apartments (with lift) is right opposite the beach (direct access across a small road), and overlooks the beautiful Iroise bay. Guests benefit from an indoor pool (open all year), gym and sauna. All apartments have a terrace or balcony with garden furniture. Breakfast available for 10 euros per person.
