Port Camargue has 18k of fine golden sandy beaches and one of the biggest pleasure harbours in Europe, famous for its colourful regattas. On the seafront, an aquarium houses a variety of sealife displays including a shark tunnel and the town centre has good shops, restaurants, nightclubs and a casino. This appealing resort is on the outskirts of the beautiful Camargue countryside with its amazing wildlife such as pink flamingoes, a bird sanctuary & herds of white horses. Aigues Mortes is a charming medieval town with lots of art & craft workshops.

This residence of small, low rise buildings housing 400 compact, simply furnished apartments is set in a spacious Mediterranean park full of exotic trees, plants & flowers. There are 2 outdoor pools (1 heated, with paddling pool, & open Apr to Nov) and direct access to a sandy beach (20m). Other facilities include 2 tennis courts (free), evening entertainment & children's clubs (Jul & Aug). Sauna & jacuzzi 5 euros each per session. Tv hire 31 euros per week.
