Port en Bessin is a charming fishing port renowned for its international 27 hole golf course (Omaha Beach) which is ranked amongst the top 50 courses in France. There is a marked trail to follow which takes you on a self-guided walking tour of the harbour and its history and don't miss the excellent market held here every Sunday. Excursions & boat rides are available to explore the nearby D-Day Landing beaches where there are various museums to visit dedicated to this wartime period. Just a short drive away is the medieval town of Bayeux (8k) with its famous tapestry depicting the Norman conquest of England.

This newly-built residence of 19 apartments and 81 maisonettes is set in the heart of a prestigious golf course (20% discount on green fees) amongst beautifully landscaped gardens. All maisonettes have a terrace with a view over the golf course. Facilities include a heated outdoor pool (mid June to mid Sept) and indoor pool (open until end Oct), sauna & children's play area. A further 46 units are being built during 2008 with most of the work being completed by early summer (no work will take place at weekends or in August) and site traffic uses a separate access.
