This relaxing island has all the ingredients for a perfect holiday. Only 5k wide and 28k long, it has a host of appealing beaches, the best of which are found on the south coast of the island. The very pretty harbour of the tiny capital, St Martin, is lined with shops and restaurants, and here you can find entertainment and boat and bicycle hire as well as a small beach. The island is reached by a magnificent bridge (toll about 17 euros return for car and passengers in summer) - an experience in itself.

17thC governor's palace, converted & extended to provide 87 smart apartments in town centre, only 250m from St Martin harbour and 4k from the beach. Facilities on site include a playroom, gym, sauna, a partly covered heated pool (12m x 5m, May-Sept) & table tennis. Free outdoor parking (40 places).

Max: 2/3 - Studio with phone, tv, 2 single beds & single sofa bed. Kitchenette (2 or 4 ring hob, mini oven + small dishwasher). Bathroom/wc (hairdryer).

Max: 4/5 - As above with double sofa bed instead of 2 single beds in living area plus twin bedroom.

Bed linen & towels provided
